Living it up without lighting up

Yess, I went to the exhibition after seeing Claudia’s post on the limited edition rings.

reaper

The grim reaper’s gonna get youuuuuu.

shoes

You get a questionaire quiz thing when you enter the “Journey of Truth”, that’s the name of the exhibition by the way. You look around for answers to fill it in as you go along the pathway.

wii

I played a bit of bowling since it was pretty empty at the time I was there.

people

This was when it was much later in the evening. Loads of people were going through it.

pledge

At the end of the journey, you get to sign a pledge not to smoke! Easy for me since I don’t do it! Except in cases of salmon or trout… So yeah.

freebies

I got freebies too! From left to right, a temporary tattoo, notepads, packets of tissue, a pen (from a survey there), said limited edition ring and in the center a picture of me of how I’d look like when older with and without smoking.

ring

It’s a pretty blur picture but there’s words saying “Living it up without lighting up” on it. Pretty cool actually. I wonder who designed it since it’s obviously anti-smoking when you can’t stick a cigarette between your fingers there!

guitarhero

Oh and somehow I got in a Guitar Hero competition there, being the first femme competition for the night. That’s a mother and son playing the game, the MC called them up so they must have been part of the organizers or something since they weren’t competitors and seemed like important people.

win

I wasn’t the top three qualifier but I got a free $2 powercard from Timezone and a purchase $5 and get $5 free voucher. Pretty ideal for me since I DO go to this arcade now and then.

Funkiness cause there was smoke machines and the stage lights going on as the songs on GH was played. I used No Doubt’s Spiderwebs for a warm up and the main competing song was Lazyeye something. It was a cool song anywho.

Of course the stage wasn’t just set for the competition, the following days, a rock concert, hip hop dance competitions and other assorted things were happening. Alas, it’s just for the weekend (plus Friday evening) and it’s now over.

I still like my funky ring though. If you want it perhaps you can head over to Claudia’s post and try get one from her if there’s still left!
