Don’t forget that our Nanowrimo kick-off party is at Bishan library, programme zone, level 2. The party starts at 4pm! Nanowrimoer-s sign in the book to get your nanowrimo sticker.Our party theme is DIY! If you want to bring crackers/snacks to share, feel free to do so! Best if Halal so everyone can eat it too.

Our unofficial dress code is: Wear whatever is decent to the library that you want to wear and have no occasion to, so this is the best time to wear whatever you want or show your fandom through your attire.

Sketching in the City: Singapore River – 9.30AM – 12.30PM is sketching by the river at clark quay. If it was at night, they’d be able to sketch the zombies walking around. It’s part of Archifest.

Singapore Zombie Walk at Clark Quay! It starts at 8.29pm ends around 9.59pm. Check their facebook to see if their registrations are still open.

Cosplay Zombie Walk! Starts at 6.45pm – 7.45pm. Registration on that day is available at 4pm, Fish & Co’s Glass House at Penang Road.

Midnight Screaming – Scary Films @ The Plaza! Starts from 10pm to 2am, the central library is screening horror movies!

During the Chinese Seventh Month, the gates of hell open and spirits are let loose upon the world. It is during this period that 18 year old, Rosa Dimaano, arrives in Singapore to work as a domestic maid. She unwittingly breaks many taboos of the Chinese Seventh Month and things go amiss as Rosa finds herself tumbling into the world of the dead.

Also don’t miss our dialogue session with Raihan Harun, filmmaker of Pontianak before the film screening.

A rumour has been circulating like wild fire amongst the soldiers on a military training island. A mad woman living on the island had died at the exact hour of 23:59, and is believed that her spirit had returned to haunt the soldiers at the exact same time. Recruit Tan is adamant he will be the ghost’s next victim.

Also don’t miss our dialogue session with Ting Szu Kiong, filmmaker of The Dwellers before the film screening.
