Reading Between the Lions <\/strong><\/p>\n Time:<\/strong> 7pm to 9pm, READING between the LIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n Join Wena Poon<\/strong> (“Lions in Winter”), Suchen Christine Lim<\/strong> (“The Lies That Build A Marriage”), Alvin Pang<\/strong> (“City of Rain”) and our very special mystery guest writer<\/strong> for an evening of fun, fiction and intergalactic mayhem at the all-new bookstore POLYMATH & CRUST.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who are they?<\/strong><\/p>\n Wena Poon, author of the Singapore Literature Prize-shortlisted Lions In Winter, will read from her literary fantasy series, Biophilia, which will be launched at this year’s Singapore Writers’ Festival.<\/em><\/p>\n Suchen Christine Lim, Singapore Literature Prize winning novelist, will read from her stunning and provocative repertorie of stories about secret lives, unsung loss and forbidden love in Singapore.<\/em><\/p>\n Alvin Pang will host, and perhaps even read some new stuff.<\/em><\/p>\n PLUS – Mystery Gues<\/span>t<\/u><\/strong>, guaranteed to please!<\/em><\/p>\n Ooooh, well hope to see you lot there. I shall be there-ish if anyone decides to say hello to me or something. I don’t know who but, well if you want<\/em> to that is.<\/p>\n MEANWHILE, the Popular fair is on at the end of the month!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It’s in celebration of their 85th anniversary! The times and dates for it goes like this:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Location:<\/strong> Singapore Expo, Hall 6B <\/p>\n That’s not all! Apparently they have autograph sessions and stuff on the various days. Well, anywho… it is a POPULAR<\/strong> fair which means saaaaales of books.
