17 July 2012 was when the first the Hunger Games was held in Singapore. Well, more like an event at the national library featuring the Hunger Games!<\/p>\n

The hosts from Hunger Games Singapore<\/a> fan site. Liyanaland<\/a> was also helping to support this along with Happy Smiley Writers Group<\/a>. Mostly though, this was the Hunger Games Singapore’s thing so they organized it while we helped out in man power!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was fairly interesting with the fans of the novels or movies there. Prizes were sponsored by The Poster Shop, Pansing and HMV Singapore.<\/p>\n

So this was the first event by them. They’ll have a Catching Fire event, probably when the movie comes out.<\/p>\n

In any case, that means we’ll see them perhaps next year! Isn’t it neat that the library supports fandom events for books?<\/p>\n
