It’s the fourth season of CiNE65<\/strong><\/a> with the theme of Home\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u2014\u008f Truly.<\/p>\n

Yep, when you say the theme, you know how the song goes.<\/p>\n

It’s a short film competition organized by Nexus, Ministry of Defence and this time, with this time they hope to inspire more Singaporeans to reflect on their hopes and dreams for the nation.<\/p>\n

TL;DR : Join it, it has an\u00c2\u00a0open and student category, you’re able to\u00c2\u00a0win prizes like $3000, Panasonic 4k camcorder, learning trip etc. You like making videos? Just join it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So far for ciNE65, there has been seminars, workshops and for field trips! There’s also overseas learning trips and mentoring workshops for participants.<\/p>\n

Basically, CiNE65 wants to nurture budding local film-makers.<\/p>\n

January – March 2017<\/strong> – Seminars\/workshops on a first come first served basis for the public for FREE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

18 April – May 2017<\/strong> – NOMINATION and judging<\/p>\n

June 2017<\/strong> – Audience votes via facebook or sms<\/p>\n

July 2017<\/strong> – Awards ceremony<\/p>\n

July – December 2017<\/strong> – Showcase of winning films!<\/p>\n

Important notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Singaporeans can participate as individuals or in a team<\/li>\n
  2. Each team should not exceed 6 members and must include Singapores<\/li>\n
  3. Non-Singapores residing in Singapore can participate as part of a team<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    There’s two categories, STUDENT and OPEN.<\/p>\n

    Prizes include up to a cash prize of $3000, a learning trip to an international film festival and Panasonic video cameras!<\/p>\n
