Easy Hotel or Eassy Hotel & KKKL review

I took the KKKL bus from Singapore to KL Sentral and their seats are comfortable, the drivers are really friendly to me, they make sure you really get on the bus after the rest stop or even if you’re ‘switching’ locations (example, first bus goes to specific location in Malaysia, you have to switch to their other branded bus to your location), they make sure you get on it.

KKKL is a pretty relaxing bus.

Our rest stop too us to Ming Ang Bus Express Rest Stop at Yong Peng. OMGGGg it’s like a mini mall over there. I had to take pictures for reviews because apparently you can only get here and park if you’re on a bus trip, the parking lots are ONLY for buses.

The Ramly burger (if you end up there, there’s only one store, you’ll know it) is highly rated in google reviews too and it is pretty good.

Over all, the rest stop is old but serviceable. The shops there take cash so make sure you have ringgits on with you. There’s pastries and I wanted to buy some egg tarts or some biscuits but I was all, maybe I’d eat too much if I brought it back to Singapore a day later. Next time if I do end up at this rest stop, I will buy those pastries cause they looked so good.

I did buy preserved plums as a snack for the rest of the bus trip. It was really good, I think I can buy 200 grams or more instead of the minimum 100 grams next time.

KKKL’s stop for KL Sentral is at a bus stop near the police post just outside of Nu Sentral mall. For pick ups, it is the same place to get back to Singapore.

I know some of you Singaporeans might want to go for the My Chemical Romance concert or other concerts happening in KL and I can pretty much tell you, staying at KL Sentral would be the EASIEST for you.

My choice of hotel for now is Easy Hotel and you can see it’s really near the station/mall. There’s other hotels near it too but Easy or Eassy hotel had been really nice for a day in/out stay at Kuala Lumpur if you’re heading to other venues due to the LRT/MRT and heck the actual train station.

The express airport train from KLIA also stops at KL Sentral, so you can see why I like this area for accessibility.

For me, I was heading to Kuash Theatre at TTDI. You can take the lrt/mrt and walk or just Grab from your locations.

Here’s a bonus cat if you’ve read this far, it’s just sleeping.

Kuash Theatre is like a black box theatre with rather comfortable seats and air conditioning. Do note though, there are steps from the main entrance of the place and if you’re Grab-ing, it might show you the kid’s theatre, it’s the same location (it’s a big place with a few businesses inside) for pick up/drop off.

Anyway, back to this surprising burger review. Guys, this is so anti-Health Promotion Board of Singapore that it is SO DELICIOUS. This stand popped up when I just got back from watching a movie at Nu Sentral too.

Please, please appreciate your burgers, my Malaysian friends.

Also Francais does not mean French, it means ‘franchise’ in Malay.

This isn’t a Ramly burger, it’s an Otai burger and honestly if you’re in any part of Malaysia that you suddenly see a random burger stand popping up at night, just get it.

As I sat down after ordering my beef burger, I kept my face serious… Casual. As I saw the owner slathering more Planta (or something like it from the large can) onto the buns and the vegetables that had been sliced thinly upon a mandolin. More of said Planta used to cook the patty and more Planta to make the patty and egg stick cook.

The sauce was squeezed out of the bottle. The egg was folded over. The burger wrapped its special “Otai” wrapping with a their paper napkins stuffed into a flimsy plastic bag.

OH YESSS. YESSSSSSS. I carried it quickly to my hotel room.

As they say it in Japanese, itadakimasu, thank you for the food.

We’re no where near Japan and burgers aren’t even a Japanese thing. But whatever.

Oh mein Gott. Yes, yes. The combination of freshly thinly sliced fresh onions with the other vegetables such as tomato and an actual green lettuce. The patty with the chilli sauce, the egg wrapped around it. The toasted buns saturated with planta upon its surface to keep the vegetables where it was.

I should have bought more than one burger.

But, considering this was past midnight, one burger would be enough.

I’ll come back for you, somehow.

Besides midnight burgers, I did get to eat Tony Roma’s at Nu Sentral and ah… Yes, I hit the places that aren’t available in Singapore and it is totally Halal too.

I don’t know why I saved my tacos in a low resolution manner but hey, Taco Bell doesn’t exist in Singapore any more too and it tastes so good when you have actual fresh vegetables from Malaysia.

HNGHGHGHGHGHG.

Oh yeah, Nu Sentral has a movie theatre. So if you want to fit in a movie in between your trip somehow, it’s also there along with a lot of other amenities and shops.

For SG friends, I would recommend you to also buy some Zus Coffee.

It’s good.
