Did you know Let it Rip! Is just the English dub for Beyblade anime? That’s why in the actual tournaments it’s “Go Shoot!”.
Here in Singapore, Beyblade X is a thing to attend the tournaments or competitions. However, while it is fun, there’s the scalper issue which you can just google about. It started in Taiwan and the story of the scalping made everyone else in the South East Asia region lack beyblades.
The TL;DR. Don’t buy scalped beyblades, try to make friends with the community or shop owners that sell beyblades where it’s not going to be sold to people in bulk. In Singapore, there’s a 2 piece per model policy now for shops to try defeat said scalpers.
ANYWAY. Just know I’m a newbie having fun and competitions don’t take too long which I like.

I asked a friend how to play beyblade and he lent me a beginner friendly deck and I was so nervous about it but in the end I had fun seeing how the game was.
I had fun taking pictures of people having fun too.
This was at Hobbies Fest in Suntec 2026 and unfortunately, you really can’t buy beyblades even at competions, so you have to have your own stuff or just watch.

I learned of places like Bukit Panjang CC where Beydojo organized.

Or Beykita that organized at Nee Soon Central CC.
It’s really all ages and all sorts of people, I just tend to post pics more of the adults here but really, you should bring your kids or accompany them and be a whole family team cause there are a lot of Family Teams of beyblade in Singapore!

There’s official games held at Toysrus and Kiddy Palace in Singapore which you can also check the Beyblade Singapore account for. Just know, if there’s more than 32 people who signed up, there will be a ballot to see if you can play in the category.
Each tournament lasts around 2 hours through elimination style at these competitions.
Also yes, I really do like taking pictures of people launching their beyblades because they look so cool! I just need that one shot of timing to get when both players are launching their beyblades intently.

I got my own deck which is 3 beyblades and you have to have each beyblade to be only Takara Tomy original pieces and that it has to be DIFFERENT parts to enter a typical competition.

My fav right now is the silver wolf which I name my Alpha CEO Werewolf. The other two are fantasy themed but I’m changing them out of my harem deck.
People play ‘meta’ beyblades but I just want to be romance fantasy-like.
That and pink. I’m changing out my parts to a different combination so we’ll see.
Meanwhile, since my friend is a north side of Singapore, that’s why I travelled there BUT HNGHGHGHG are there any east side or central games?
Suntec was central-ish enough for me but do people organize in the East side? Let me know since I’ll google but it’s not the same as real life experience.
After all, besides shooting my beyblades, I might be able to shoot you for pictures or for your event officially if you contact me.
