Hello everyone to season 2 of Sarah Does Singapore! In which we start things off with a bang! Or a fake bang really. In the wee early morning of a Saturday, Mintea, Joelyn Alexandra and Avariel rendezvoused to Plaza Singapura’s Starbucks.
For I wanted to eat some oatmeal.
That wasn’t our main adventure though.
Firstly, yeah. I have no idea what is going with this. It’s a Thomas the tank engine transformer. Secondly, they typoed Thomas to Tomas. Just wanted to post that up because it’s just so weird.
ANYWAY! A minor interlude. I’ve been posting events because they’re faster than my book reviews! I got a stack load of books from the Singapore Writers Festival the other month and yes… It’s quite a lot. I’ll post them book by book in December. That’s after Nanowrimo anyway.

And uh, whatever books I forgot to list down but is in my stack to go through. So there! Also I’ll be premiering a new series called Tower. It’ll be pretty much a weekly online webcomic without the comic. I can’t draw that well but I can write! Heh, more info on that once I get the prologue and stuff up. What I can say is that, it’ll be a pretty fun online series…

I saw the advert on TVmobile in the bus. The ad had subtitles though and I remember it saying something like “I woke up in the morning and saw an edamame next to me. Squeeze edamame, squeeze edamame, edamame squeeze, etc etc”.
So I went all “This is stupid. I need it. ”
AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Or rather it hit me that this would be a nice birthday gift for my friend because it’s just so ridiculous.
AND SO I BOUGHT IT!
Okay, so I went to Daiso yesterday to see if they had miniature furniture thingies for my Pinky St. figurines and that I just liked going there anyway. The stationary section is always niiiiiiiiice.
And okay… I admit, the toys section amuse me like heck.

Mind you, this in the children’s toy and party section. Never mind that if this was a children’s toy… What kind of party would this be to use it?!
The instructions… have… a… perverted looking man… on it.
AND WHAT IS UP WITH THE SWAN? WHY IS IT BULGING SUSPICIOUSLY AT THE BOTTOM THERE!?
Fortunately (or UNFORTUNATELY?!) I found a loose pack near it too that wasn’t in a box.
I can’t open it due to duh, me not buying it but… I CANNOT SEE HOW YOU CAN INFLATE THIS THING.
And… It’s supposed to be attached to some velcro thing?! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK IF YOU ARE NOT A PERVERTED GUY, SERIOUSLY.
