Average

Mee Goreng.

It’s been quite a while since I did a State of Sarah post. The fourth month of the year and I’m like “Whaaat?”. We’ve gone through the first quarter or we ARE going to go through the first quarter.

And while I don’t post everything here, I have been in quite a bunch of adventures and events.

There’s unannounced stuff and oh, I should promo my Facebook Page more: https://www.facebook.com/seriouslysarahSG

More to come because my crew have noticed, it’s always a lull in the first part of the year and then FWOOSH, things happen and it goes into a steady stream, until fasting month like a season hiatus and THEN it goes fwoosh back again.

Yeah, well I thought about it, the fourth month and I’ve been… winning or getting stuff or being invited to VERY lovely events.

So I thought, wow. Because this is all being rather weird in a sense that I’m just me.

There is a lot of behind the scenes action for all these. Like a HECK load. It surprises me though because I only realize how much is done once I list them out.

Because to me, I am average.

I am such an average girl, that I figured I have to step up everything to keep up people with more talent and skills.

Levels of awesome

My natural state is in the red, other people are more awesome naturally that I figured I needed to just go for the heck of it and blast away in overkill mode to get to THEIR good.

When other people are naturally/skill/talent that good in the first place, all they need is just a little more effort to go into WOAAAAAH. But, I prey upon those who are naturally good might be lulled into their own confidence and whatever deep jargon here.

In simple terms. WAAH THEY SO GOOD BUT HOW COME THEY SO LAZY NOW, OK LOR. I SHALL TAKE OVER.

People please, when I put in extra effort and all, I hope to achieve the level of woahness without comparing others because my goal is the WOAH.

I will put in effort, time and a heck lot of work to get there.

Also that I’m very crap at bar charts.

Perhaps it’s because of cosplay, school and everything else that I’ve gone into “Yeah well, whatever. Imma do this”.

Cosplay because you sew or make your own costumes and props. It really DOES teach you that nearly anything is possible to make or do if you plan out and work on it.

School because heck it, I have learned that I CAN LEARN. I’m very good at learning. It’s nearly like a Rogue-like power.

The secret to this is… Not to be a douchecanoe.

Because you will have to listen to others, take comments into consideration, read, observe and DO.

It helps to be thankful and grateful to whoever you helped you out and that you can help out too.

Plus, I think because the lack of monies make me go “Ok, if I can’t buy THIS maybe I can do this…” aka alternatives and knowing what to make do what you have until you get to the level of awesome. So yeah, yeah!!

Behind the scenes action is a lot, a HECK lot but if you ask me personally, I think you’ll go “What.” to trigger all these because it’s not an instant thing and takes time.

And you have to be patient and stubborn enough to get to it.

That’s it for the state of Sarah today.

NYA HA HA.

Keep on doing your own stuff, people!
