Singapore Toys, Games & Comics Convention Flashback!
This is a flashback post. The STGCC was on 2008 in June, this year, it’s on in August. You can check details on their website. I’ll be there on Saturday and Sunday.
Heh, if you ever wanted to say hello to me, I’ll be at the Movie Mania booth from 9am-12pm on Sunday (16th August) since I’m helping them out a bit.
Also, you guys can check more about costuming and making props there! Seriously, it’s one booth that you might want to check out! Feel free to pose with the costumers and such there too.
Oh and if you’re around on Saturday afternoon, PLEASE, please vote for Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy during the cosplay competition.

Cosfest VIII (2009)
Cosfest VIII was held at Downtown East, Pasir Ris on the 11th and 12th of July from 1pm till 7pm. Of course in reality people went much earlier and left much later than the official times. It was held at D’Marquee.
A dome like thing but pretty much once you’re at Downtown East, if you get lost, just find the costumed people and you will pretty much reach the correct location.
TGX 09 (aka The Games Xpo)
This is a random courtesy lion. This time he’s wearing a mask to prevent H1N1. That’s nice of him. Oh for non-locals, he’s kinda like the mascot to be uh, courteous and all.
But let’s get back to business!
TGX 09 is The Games Xpo! I have no idea why they spelled expo as Xpo but whatever. It’s “cool” to do so, I guess.
This isn’t the TGX but it’s just an amusing ad at The Strip in Suntec, some waxing place. It was on the way to the convention halls there anyway. But yeah, Suntec. I was there to see more of the cosplaying segments and this was on the 4th of July. That was day one and day two was more of the championships. I didn’t go for that one.

Since some people are curious over from my twitter side. This is the McD’s cinnamon melt I was talking about. Well official name is Cinammon Melts but it’s so weird to say it with a plural in my previous sentence.
It’s $2.50 and is best eaten there and not as a takeaway.

Romance Week! Starts… next week.
With all these quarantine stuff and all at work/school freaking me out due to H1N1, I have proclaimed next week to be Romance Week!
That and cause my friend just sent me some new romance books. I figured I might as well make a week long episode of romance since I have quite a bit of things to say about it!
Stay tuned for romance week… next week! Feel free to publicize it cause… Oh man, it will be about the storylines and everything else that you might not possibly know about and have no idea WHY you’d wanna know about it.

The Quest! At the library…
Those who had been reading my twitter (no, I’m not telling you what it is but it’s really easy to find anyway and I won’t tell you because if you follow me, you’d be spammed since I get really random) would have noticed me going “LE GASP!” at the latest initiative by the national library.
What is the Quest? The Quest is a story card game thingy with pretty artwork and well… You can check out their official site to know more.
