I can’t remember if there were park festivals before this year but I knew about this year from an emailer I got since they were having a WaterFire® art installation at Bedok Reservoir on the 24th and 25th September!

SDS 3.19 – Speeding Cars
It’s F1 season in Singapore. Hence the roads near the city have gates built up and roads are being diverted when the actual race is on. Before the week when the races were on, there were activities to hype up the event.
SDS 3.15 – Here It Goes Again
Singapore, Toys, Games and Comics Convention aka STGCC was fun even though there was so much negativity online before it. I blame the lack of updates from the main STGCC website.
You want to tease the audience, sure but don’t tease them till the last minute. I found out some competitions or activities just a few days before the event date. Due to the lack of information, people don’t really want to pay money for what they don’t know, yeah?
Hope next year they’ll put out the info much earlier. Ignoring all the online negative bits, YAZAAA! Look below.

SDS 3.14 – Through The Fire And Flames
After being sent ingredients for a lemon cake, it was fun to realize that most of the Adventure Crew and other people we knew were invited to this HBO Asia event.
Eggs and lemons it is! Plus a recipe.
Ok. So I did receive eggs and a clue for the third piece! In fact, I finished the whole puzzle so here’s what the fourth item is.
SDS 3.11 – The Scientist
This is Professor Why and we went to the Science Fest at Suntec! The science centre usually has these workshop/roadshows yearly at various malls or exhibition halls in Singapore. So if you’re not off to Jurong to check the Science Centre, the SCIENCE CENTRE COMES TO YOU.
SDS 3.9 – The Resurrection Stone
I visited two different libraries on that 9th July Saturday. The first one was at Serangoon library to catch an author’s session. The one in the evening was at the National Library. Heh, heh. It was for the Harry Potter party held at the multipurpose room.

Cosfest once again! At Downtown East! I went on the second day as I was busy on the first! It’s now X.1 for 2011. Ah I could remember the first Cosfest and it had lesser people compared to now!

- We’re expecting a LOT of people since response is like WOAH. So to be sure, remember this is a LIBRARY and we need to keep the noise down so be “quiet” like you’re sneaking to the room of requirement when you’re just entering the place.
- Also due to the woaah response, if the librarian says no more people allowed in, then no more people allowed in. However, let’s try to all get seated inside eh?
- It’s a fan event by fans! To make it enjoyable, hope you guys will participate or it will be sad.
